Why do you buy your Mom Flowers for Mother’s Day?  We asked around the shop and found that all of us have some pretty good reasons to spoil Mom on her special day. Here are a few of our favorites:

• My mom gives me hope and encouragement. She truly believes that if I tried hard enough I could fly to the moon. She’s always told me that I can do anything I set my mind to.
• She puts everybody before herself, so much so that she landed herself in the hospital.

  My mom taught me what unconditional love is. She is always rooting for her family through every setback. And she will love you no matter how many times you fail and remind you that it’s not how many times you fall, it’s how many times you get back up.

• She taught me to smile even when everything is going wrong and I love her for that, especially when everything is in fact going wrong.
• I love that she bounces back from adversity and just keeps moving forward. She always has a solution or back up plan for everything.
• My mom is always so thoughtful and caring. She sends me care packages and food because I’d rather spend my free time having fun than at the grocery store. In high school she would make pancakes for me to take to school for my friends.

• My mom is one of the few people and I mean few people in this world who if she’s mad at me it messes up my whole day or week depending on how long she stays mad at me. I couldn’t have asked for a better mom or grandmothers. Happy Mother’s Day!

• I love how much my mom loves each one of her kids. We have all been brats at some point, done things that wouldn’t make anyone proud and said hurtful things to each other or worse even to her. For every bad thing we’ve done she’s carried out a million kind acts, shared a hundred smiles and gave dozens of hugs. She sees the good in us all even when we can’t see it in ourselves or in each other. She made each one of us feel special and loved.

• She puts everyone else’s needs above her own and will go above and beyond to make you happy.

• She always has the best words of wisdom when I’m looking for a pick me up. No matter how old my brother and I get she never stops being a mom. From cooking dinner, to asking me if my room is clean. She’s the ultimate mom to have to lean on in any and every situation that my brother and I go through and anytime we need advice or help.

• Forget the energizer Bunny, replace him with a picture of my mom. She never stops, nevvverr stops! She is always willing to help others and has truly helped a lot of people. All my life I have heard a lot of people wish that they either had a mom like mine or even wished that she was their mom. All my friends have a story about my mom that is special to them. When we all get together we relive the situation and tell the stories. Whatever picture defines strong, a picture of my mom needs to be added to the definition. To have to deal with everyday life in general and two sons, she has what they call that “mama strength” and she is the ultimate mama bear. She talks about us being protective of her when she is just as protective of us!
